Briefing on Building the Capacity of Teachers to Prepare Students for College and Careers

A growing network of stakeholders from across California is developing teacher preparation programs and professional development opportunities that provide a Linked Learning lens. This briefing will highlight these efforts to expand the traditional training options available to high school teachers in California, as the state and nation move toward college and career readiness for all. The panelist discussion will include a focus on state and federal policy, teacher training, and the impact on classroom practice. The briefing will conclude with a question and answer period for audience members. This event is taking place in Washington, DC.
