Mile High United Way GradNation Workforce Summit
Mile High United Way's GradNation Workforce Summit will bring together members of the business, nonprofit and education communities to share expertise and discuss how we can develop a pathway for young Coloradans to succeed in school, work and life.
The day-long event is designed to help the business community effectively engage with schools to increase graduation rates creating pathways into the workforce for Colorado youth and ultimately strengthening the local workforce. The morning session will feature a Denver Business Leaders Panel and Keynote address followed by “Take the Pledge” where participants will be asked to share what school engagement work they are pledging to do during the upcoming year. The afternoon includes a discussion on effective school engagement and a business and school “marketplace” where seven metro-area public school districts will showcasing upcoming opportunities for businesses to engage with
