Youth and Adult Voices in Action

Event Description

The Youth and Adult Voices in Action Summit will combine the voices of youth and adults to address progress made and actions to take since the first Louisville “Drop Out Prevention Summit” held in 2008. This will be an opportunity for young people in 9th through 12th grades to give input and develop action plans for issues that are important to them to make our community a better place to live, grow-up and succeed for all young people. Particular emphasis will be on recommendations for ongoing Out-of-School programming, reducing high school dropouts, civic engagement opportunities and youth friendly policies for older youth, particularly those who are not actively engaged in the community.
