Spark, All Our Children, The Foundation for Blended and Online Learning, and FSG have joined America’s Promise as alliance partners! Find out more about these organizations below:
Spark. Spark engages communities to provide career exploration and self-discovery opportunities that help middle school students understand, experience, and pursue what’s possible. They do this through mentorship and direct connections with career professionals. Spark believes every individual can help grow the next generation of difference-makers, and they’re committed to helping students achieve futures of all shapes and sizes.
All Our Children. All Our Children is a network of individuals, organizations, and congregations—primarily but not exclusively Episcopalian—that believe faith calls them to champion every child’s right to quality public education. The network does this by promoting, nurturing, and supporting faith-rooted community partnerships with public schools. These partnerships differ from one another, and their activities grow out of their local contexts. All Our Children offers guidance on best-practices for these partnerships, but it doesn’t prescribe a single method or program.
The Foundation for Blended and Online Learning. The Foundation for Blended and Online Learning (FBOL) is working to close the gap between the pace of technology in daily life and the pace of change in education. It does this through scholarships, grants, original research, and strategic partnerships with a diverse cross-section of leaders. They work to keep the student, parent, and educator experience central to the conversations about the future of education by documenting and sharing their stories.
To date, FBOL has also released three research papers: Why Students Choose, Teaching with Technology and Digital Learning Strategies for Rural America.
FSG. FSG is a mission-driven consulting firm for leaders in search of large-scale, lasting social change. Through a combination of customized consulting services, powerful ideas, and learning communities, they help foundations, businesses, nonprofits, and governments around the world unleash their full potential to reimagine social change. They combine practical advice with unconventional thinking to create a more equitable and sustainable future.
