Senior Director, Mission Advancement
Patricia Granata Eisner serves as our Senior Director of Mission Advancement. In this role Patricia leads fund development and oversees relationships that enhance strategic growth and support of our mission. She is also a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Prior to her work at America’s Promise, Patricia was Chief of Strategic Growth and Development for the Global Good Fund where she led strategic initiatives and partnerships to support 12 Global Social Entrepreneurship Fellows, focused on education, technology, sustainable goods and healthcare.
Patricia spent eleven years as the Executive Director for the global entrepreneurship non-profit, Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, NFTE, where she led fundraising efforts, expansion and ran programs for over 25,000 students from under-served communities in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia.
Patricia has spent her entire career devoted to urban education. Prior to NFTE, she was a Program Officer for the Erickson Foundation for seven years. The Erickson Foundation is a family foundation whose mission it is to serve and offer education opportunities to students from marginalized neighborhoods.
Patricia started her career as an elementary school teacher and holds a BA, in English and Writing from Loyola University, Maryland. She holds two Masters of Arts degrees, one in Education and Curriculum, Loyola University, Maryland and a second in Writing and Design, University of Baltimore, Maryland.
Patricia lives with her husband, Ken, and two daughters, Lucia and Alessandra, in Washington, DC.
