Event Details
Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Rutgers-Camden University in Camden, New Jersey 8:30am – 3:30pm
Event Description
This conference invites educators and community stakeholders into a day of conversations designed to move us beyond siloes of thought, beyond one-at-a-time decisions about practices, into an SEL-Achievement Imperative through which school communities actively forge multiple, multi-layered links between social-emotional learning, student wellness, and student achievement. We will demonstrate how a focus on establishing a healthy (in the broadest sense) community opens endless opportunities to give student achievement the full meaning it needs to have in young people’s lives: social, emotional, physical, and intellectual possibility.
