Andrea Glauber
Director of Collective Action
As APA’s Director of Collective Action, Andrea “Andi” Glauber optimizes systems and structures to drive Alliance collaboration and impact. She is a lifelong learner and educator passionate about creating more just and equitable opportunities for youth.
Andi brings to America’s Promise Alliance over a decade of experience in the education and non-profit sectors. Prior to joining APA, she served as a public school district administrator, where she contributed to the development of a unique in-district pathway to educator certification. Andi also served on the founding team of an education strategy and policy firm, providing strategic advising and technical support to high-level state and district leaders. Additionally, she spent several years as an instructional coach and high school teacher specializing in multilingual learners, collaborating with school principals and educators through targeted professional development and coaching. Andi began her career at the United Nations Foundation and Save the Children, supporting the political process that led to the creation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a global agreement adopted by 193 countries.
Andi holds a Master of Education from Rhode Island College and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland. She has also earned certificates in Teaching English as a Second Language. Andi lives in Rhode Island with her partner and enjoys hiking and skiing in the mountains of New England.
