Jada Pulsipher

Youth Trustee Board Member

Jada Pulsipher is from Denver, Colorado and an incoming freshman at American University in Washington, D.C., where she plans to major in Political Science. She is passionate about journalism, public policy, and civic engagement, and is committed to expanding opportunities for young people. Jada values a solution-oriented approach and is focused on shifting mindsets away from transactional and surface-level change.

Jada graduated from Denver East High School, where she served as editor of the East Spotlight student newspaper and participated in the Constitutional Law Program. She has also worked with the nonprofit FaithBridge for the past four years, advancing work that ensures students thrive, learn in great schools, and achieve their hopes across Colorado. Through FaithBridge, she has been a key leader in the SHIFT Fellowship, a body of student leaders committed to impacting through service with the Food Bank of the Rockies and co-creating policy and practice improvement solutions, including the Youth Opportunity Card bill and Mental Health and Wellness policy in Denver and Aurora Public Schools.

As a member of America's Promise Alliance's Youth Trustee Board, Jada looks forward to connecting with and learning from those around her, contributing her perspective, and working alongside other youth to make a meaningful difference in our changing world.
