Atlanta and Denver Partner Cities Officially Launch
THROUGH A HYBRID, LOCAL-NATIONAL NETWORK AND STRATEGY, THE ALLIANCE WILL SUPPORT A MORE ALIGNED AND COORDINATED NONPROFIT COMMUNITY
When we launched our reimagined Alliance community in 2022, our aspiration was to build a hybrid, local-national network that brings together the nation’s leading youth-serving organizations and the most inspiring local organizations from select cities across the country.
This model doesn’t just elevate local changemakers while supporting the growth of up-and-coming local orgs—it also creates powerful place-based anchors for collective action and fuels collaboration between local and national leaders to advance opportunity for young people at scale.
As the cradle of the Civil Rights Movement and a city that continues to shape culture, policy, and progress, Atlanta has always been a home for visionaries and movement-builders. The eleven Atlanta-based organizations joining our Alliance carry that legacy forward—working every day to expand opportunity for young people.
Likewise, with a history of early civil rights victories and spirit of purpose-driven innovation, Denver is another ideal home for this kind of local–national partnership. Thirteen exceptional Denver-based organizations will now join the Alliance to help drive our shared mission forward.
Please join us in welcoming our founding Atlanta and Denver member organizations, who are joining the Alliance to connect with their national peers and scale their impact even further.
If you know an Atlanta or Denver-based nonprofit leader or organization who would be a great fit to join our Alliance community, reach out to Sherese Ward.
