Parvathi “Parv” Santhosh-Kumar is a future-oriented and collaborative systems change leader working to measurably improve well-being outcomes of children and families furthest from opportunity. She joins America’s Promise Alliance as Vice President of Community Impact.

Parv most recently served as Vice President of Equitable Results at StriveTogether, a national movement to help every child succeed, regardless of race, zip code or circumstance. She led strategy and implementation for the Cradle to Career Network, including coaching and capability-building, trust-based philanthropy and grantmaking, convenings and network events, and learning and data to advance equitable outcomes. Parv previously served Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel on executing his education policy agenda.

She is a leader in the Global Shapers Community, where she co-authored the Millennial Manifesto and contributed to dialogues at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos. Parv is an advanced Results Count leadership practitioner and a certified advanced practitioner in emergent learning. Parv earned a BA in American Studies from Northwestern and an MPP from Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. She lives in Nashville with her husband and daughter.
