Rosie M. Connor is the Vice President of Development at America’s Promise Alliance, bringing nearly two decades of experience in education and non-profit leadership. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to empowering organizations and institutions to work collaboratively with philanthropy to improve outcomes for young people.
Before joining APA, Rosie served as Vice President of Foundation Partnerships and Development Content and Design at Teach For America (TFA). In this role, she led efforts to secure nearly $18-$20 million in annual revenue and created compelling content for the broader development team.
Rosie’s journey is deeply rooted in her personal experiences as a first-generation college graduate and daughter of immigrants. Growing up in Brooklyn, NY, she witnessed firsthand the challenges systemic barriers impose on young people. These experiences have fueled her commitment to working with organizations to co-create solutions that help dismantle inequitable systems and expand opportunities for all young people.
Rosie is a proud graduate of Stony Brook University and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She currently resides in Atlanta, GA, with her family.
